Tudor silver gilt ball-headed dress pin. Circa 1500-1600 CE. 4.58g, 74mm. Each hemisphere is decorated with three filigree circles, each with a filigree annulet and central pellet. Pellets and annulets between each. Ref: Margeson (1993) p.11 no’s 26-28. From an Old English collection, purchased early 1990's.
